As part of the IEF Lecture Series Tribina IEF-a, Mladen Domazet, research associate at the Institute of Philosophy and the Institute for Political Ecology, gave a lecture titled Degrowth as Infrapolitics on the Semi-Periphery. In his talk, he presented what degrowth represents in Croatian and European public (and scientific) discourse today and how attitudes toward this topic have changed since 2010.

Suzana Marjanić conducted field research in Belgrade, during which she interviewed artists participating in the Queer Zone Festival and took part in a student blockade. During her stay, at the invitation of multimedia artist Lazar Simeunović, she promoted her book Umjetnost performansa i kinizam.

At the international conference jьgra: getting serious in play, organized by the Italian Collettivo giovani slavisti in Naples, Marco Jakovljević presented a paper on the television channel OTV during the wartime 1990s.

Jelena Kupsjak presented a paper titled The (Infra)Politics of PTSD: Cultural Dimensions of PTSD at the Third Biennial Conference of the European Network for Psychological Anthropology in Münster, Germany, as part of the pre-conference workshop The Writing (Co-)Lab: ENPA Pre-Conference Workshop for Graduate Students and Early Career Scholars.

At the international conference Animazione, fumetti e graphic novel nei Paesi Slavi in Bari (Italy), Marco Jakovljević presented a paper on Croatian comics dealing with the wars in the former Yugoslavia.

At the annual conference of the Croatian Ethnological Society titled Teret terena – iskustva i vještine etnografskih spoznaja, Zlatko Bukač gave a presentation Nisam antropolog, ali mogu pogledati… Nostalgija kao teren as part of the panel Rasterećenost discipline i teret komunikacije. Within the panel Arhivi: nepropitani ‘teret’ u etnološkim/kulturnoantropološkim istraživanjima, Olga Orlić presented a paper Rasprava o ostavinskim raspravama, linking past and contemporary inheritance practices and pointing to efforts to change traditional patriarchal inheritance patterns.
Students Dario Poznić and Iva Jambrek presented the results of their research project, conducted under the mentorship of project collaborator Jelena Kupsjak, titled Teret terena: Iskustva prelaska ulice dr. Franje Tuđmana u Zadru.

Skulpturalni i zvučni performansi posvećeni ilegalcima i partizanskim snagama.

In the Roma settlement of Kuršanec (Međimurje County), Bojan Mucko led a workshop for Roma primary school children designed as a format for empowering marginalized children through collaboration across different media (text, video, performance). The workshop was organized as part of the program Drugi film u susjedstvu with new media artist Vida Guzmić (Studio Pangolin, Osnovna škola Kuršanec).

The annual project meeting was held, addressing, among other things, procedures and deadlines for ensuring interlocutor anonymity and for archiving materials in the IEF Documentation Department.
The meeting was attended by students Dario Poznić, Iva Jambrešić, Ivana Brzović, and Anja Galić from the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology, University of Zadar, who are enrolled in the course Terenske vježbe i terensko istraživanje led by Dr. Jelena Kupsjak.
Students met the research team members and gained practical skills in categorizing, processing, and storing research materials and documents such as manuscripts, transcripts, and audio-visual recordings. They also engaged with ethical questions related to documentation storage and presented their research topics.
