As an undergraduate, she read ethnology and comparative literature at the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Zagreb), and gained her Masters degree at the Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Zagreb). Since 1996 she has been working at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research, where she is now working on her thesis. She also works at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Zagreb where she holds workshops and lectures, and is a member of the editorial committee. She works with a number of non-governmental organisations, and also holds workshops on the problems of gender and political participation. She is interested in feminist anthropology, subculture and cultural phenomena.
