Projekt DISKOGRAF u ožujku 2023. organizira međunarodni simpozij 78 okretaja u min. kod kuće: Lokalne perspektive u ranoj diskografskoj industriji (8-11. ožujka 2023.). Simpozij se održava na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu te virtualno, putem platforme Zoom.

KONCERT "ZVJEZDANA PRAŠINA"

Petak, 10.3.2023. u 19:00, HDS (Berislavićeva 9, Zagreb)

U sklopu simpozija, održat će se koncert posvećen razdoblju sviranja i vrtnje na 78 okr. u min Zvjezdana prašina.

Koncert će predstaviti izbor stranih i domaćih skladbi koje su u razdoblju šelak ploča producirale tri zagrebačke diskografske kuće (Edison Bell Penkala, Elektroton i Jugoton) i koje su istodobno bile izdane kao notna izdanja (najčešće u nakladi Albini). Izvođači su studenti Odsjeka za pjevanje Muzičke akademije uz klavirsku pratnju, u razredu Lidije Horvat Dunjko i Martine Zadro. Publika će se upoznati s radom diskografskih kuća i izdavača nota, s naglaskom na pojedine zanimljive aspekte glazbe i plesa urezane na gramofonske ploče, na značajke njihove glazbene interpretacije nekad i danas te na ilustracije na naslovnicama notnih izdanja. Koncert je pripremljen u suradnji s Evom Kirchmayer Bilić; zahvalni smo joj na pomoći i suradnji.

SAZNAJ VIŠE O SIMPOZIJU

Ovaj međunarodni simpozij nastoji proučiti proizvodnju, kolanje i potrošnju glazbe pod okriljem glazbene industrije u specifičnim društvenim, kulturnim i političkim okolnostima. Oslanja se na projekt u tijeku posvećen djelovanju i utjecaju tri zagrebačke diskografske kuće (Edison Bell Penkala, Elektroton i Jugoton), aktivne u razdoblju električki snimljenih ploča na 78 okretaja u minuti (od sredine 1920-ih do kraja 1950-ih), na lokalnu glazbenu kulturu tog i kasnijih razdoblja. Za razliku od koncepcije “velike petorke” u diskografskoj industriji i globalizirajućeg učinka njihova rada, što je sukladno i općoj matrici “Zapada i ostalih”, simpozij ima za cilj rasvijetliti druge smjerove glazbenih kretanja, ispitujući tako rizomatski karakter diskografske industrije u kulturi.

TEME SIMPOZIJA

Glavna tema simpozija obuhvaća djelovanje lokalnih tvrtki u doba ploča na 78 okr. u min., uključujući i njihov odnos prema multinacionalnim tvrtkama. Sudionici se pozivaju da tematiziraju različite glazbe, glazbenike, publike i tržišne niše, naročito na području jugoistočne, središnje i istočne Europe, ali i u drugim dijelovima svijeta.

Druga se tema tiče upotrebe povijesnih komercijalnih snimki u narednim razdobljima. Dobrodošla su izlaganja posvećena glazbenom prijenosu, oživljavanju i intertekstualnosti, povijesnim, kulturnim i društvenim putanjama gramofonskih ploča i/ili njihovom očuvanju i zaštiti.

Treća se tema odnosi na etnomuzikološke perspektive u istraživanju povijesnih komercijalnih snimki – koje izazove one donose ovoj izrazito terenski orijentiranoj disciplini koncentriranoj na žive izvedbe te koje prednosti interdisciplinarnom proučavanju snimljene glazbe može donijeti oslanjanje na etnomuzikološke teorije i metode.

Raspon specifičnih studija slučaja može uključiti, no nije ograničen na sljedeće: lokalni ogranci multinacionalnih tvrtki i nacionalne diskografske tvrtke; organizacija proizvodnog procesa i uključene profesije; odnos diskografskih tvrtki i drugih poluga glazbene infrastrukture (radio, film, festivali, koncerti, notno izdavaštvo, tiskani mediji, glazbene organizacije, zaštita autorskih prava); tehnološke, političke i ekonomske okolnosti djelovanja diskografskih tvrtki; njihova uloga u formiranju identiteta, nacionalnoj izgradnji i kulturnoj geopolitici; interkulturalni, regionalni, međuregionalni i međunarodni promet snimljenom glazbom; glazbe, glazbenici i zajednice uključene i isključene iz diskografske industrije; formiranje glazbenih kanona; suradnje povrh uvriježenih glazbenih kategorija; udomaćivanje međunarodnog repertoara, glazbena hibridnost, novi repertoari, žanrovi i stilovi potaknuti radijskom i diskografskom proizvodnjom; mjesta, prostori i načini korištenja snimljene glazbe; povijesne snimke i povijesno obaviještena izvedba; povijesne snimke i muziciranje u digitalnom okruženju i/ili povrh dihotomije žive i snimljene glazbe; zajednice zaljubljenika i do-it-yourself (uradi-sam) kustosa i arhivista povijesnih snimki; etnografske i kolaborativne metode u očuvanju i zaštiti povijesnih snimki; pitanja zaštite autorskih i srodnih prava, etike jednakosti, društvene uključivosti, ljudskih prava i održivosti u korištenju povijesnih snimki.
